The article deals with formation of critical thinking in postgraduate education of teachers during their preparation for the spiritual and moral education of children on the basis of Orthodox values. This problem hasn’t become yet the subject of special research. The author analyzes the ways of solving it, draws attention to the specifics of traditional pedagogical technologies at work with adults, and concludes that the development of critical thinking and reflective culture of teachers is an essential component in their preparation for teaching Orthodox culture and spiritual and moral education of pupils

In article problems of a technique of reading texts of folklore at elementary school are considered. The author considers a turn of the XX–XXI centuries when the Russian primary education after disintegration of the USSR significantly changes. At this time the technique of reading texts of folklore actively develops. The technique takes into account: problems of literary reading; purposes of literary education; successes of modern science about folklore; specific features of subculture of the childhood; psychological properties of the younger pupil of school; interrelation of children's literature and folklore. Development of a technique of reading texts of folklore fi nds reflection in textbooks. The contents of textbooks change, their structure changes also.

The article deals with the origins and particular development of providentsialistskoy ideas of education in domestic pedagogical thought XI — the beginnings of XXI centuries. The author explores the idea of providentsialistskuyu education, on the one hand, as a phenomenon associated with the notions of Christianity, on the other — both formed the phenomenon of educational thought, associated with global social and spiritual processes. Particular attention is drawn to the relationship and relevance of pedagogical constructs and providentsialistskih provisions. The author concludes that as a result of a deep and broad development of ideas providentsialistskoy education in this domestic pedagogical thought emerged the concept of providential oriented education.

Various methodological problems concerning psychological research of the phenomenon of faith are discussed in the article. The possibility of a psychological investigation of faith is proved, the research difficulties are analyzed. It is noted that the problem of faith is in phase of its identification, the concrete questions identifying the problem of faith are formulated. The distinction between philosophical and psychological approaches to faith is elicited; specifics of psychological approach are revealed. Authors of the article have formulated provisions of the value and meaning approach and its requirement to a research of the phenomenon of faith within a psychological framework. Also the work presents the critical analysis of various research strategies realized in psychological studying of faith and proposes another productive strategy of a research.

In article the hypothesis is made that the main source of nurseries and teenage suicides in modern Russia is the anthropological crisis endured by society. Historical, cultural, psychological and spiritual preconditions minors suicide behavior in modern Russia are analyzed. The point of view is proved that the general ways of the prevention of children's suicides are the care based on love and education of children in line with national spiritual tradition
