Abstract
The analysis of bilingual dictionaries of misleading words (Russian, English and French languages) made it possible to sort out two types of dictionaries in compliance with the mode of gloss selection (active and passive dictionaries) and also to draw up the typology of description of correlate units. The article proposes a new model of functional dictionary of misleading words that could be applicable for bilingual and trilingual dictionaries of misleading words.
