Abstract
Published sermons of martyr Thaddaeus (Uspensky), the archbishop of the Tver diocese, were preached at churches of Zhitomir, Astrakhan and, mainly, Saratov in the 1920th. The texts of sermons were found in the archival case of layman A. A. Solovev. The historical significance of the sermons is the coverage of the uninvestigated period of holy hierarch’s service in the Saratov diocese
