This article examines questions about changing workers’ strength on the Fr’anovo silk manufacture in the XVIII — beginning of XIX century on the ground of the archival materials, and also analyzes social structure of the manufacture’s qualified workers, who are ascribed to it on the ground of the decree of 7 January 1736
