The author considers «a Golgotha Christianity» as one ofthe movement’s directions of «a social Christianity» in Russia in 1905-1915. She also investigates the question of establishment of this direction by bishop Michal (Semionov). The investigation was based on the articles of bishop Michal and his “program” of social Christianity. The author clarifiesthe character of “the Golgotha Christianity” as a religiously reformist one because it postulated itself as the Christianity without the Russian Orthodox Church.
