Abstract
History of clergy position candadates’ education in two towns of Tver province -Rzhev and Ostashkov - is covered in the present article. Questions in consideration are as follows: total number of clergymen, that attended special training, or missed it completely, how different amount of classes attended at seminary or religious school influence service position occupation and overall career advancement.

Abstract
This article deals with the story of the creation of the Surgut Orthodox Mission; it’s financing, goals, methods, phases and achievements. The author examines the objective and subjective difficulties that the missionaries endured during their mission. She demonstrates that, notwithstanding great hardships the missionaries had great success in the dissemination of Christianity and education of the locals in the Tobol North region.

Abstract
The article discusses a history of secret committees deal with measures against old believer’s schism. The author studied archival documents possible to consider confessional politics of the Emperor Alexander I as a new stage of struggle with the old believer’s schism. The first secret committee was established by order of Emperor Alexander I in 1820. This committee was a unique phenomenon in the history of the secret committees of the 19th century and the first experience ofjoint efforts of Church and State against.

Abstract
The author considers «a Golgotha Christianity» as one ofthe movement’s directions of «a social Christianity» in Russia in 1905-1915. She also investigates the question of establishment of this direction by bishop Michal (Semionov). The investigation was based on the articles of bishop Michal and his “program” of social Christianity. The author clarifiesthe character of “the Golgotha Christianity” as a religiously reformist one because it postulated itself as the Christianity without the Russian Orthodox Church.

Abstract
The article covers the liquidation’s story by the Soviet government of the Ukrainian
Greco-Catholic Church in 1945–1949. The author investigates, in the context of the
subject, the circumstances such the little-developed in the historiography the ambiguous
problem, as the participation of the Moscow Patriarchy in destruction’s campaign of the
Uniat Church by means the reunion It with the Russian Orthodox Church. In spite of
the fact that this question is the subject of a brisk polemic, the objective information
about the personal relation of orthodox hierarchies and clergy towards the action of the
Soviet authorities is in limited supply. The author puts together the sources and sums up
information clarifying the story of reunion the Uniat Church with the Russian Orthodox
Church.

The correspondence between two representatives of Russian church diaspora - the professor of St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute in Paris Archimandrite Cyprian (Kern) and the Protopresbyter of Russian Orthodox Church Abroad BasilVinogradov -covers the period from 1857 to 1859. The main subjects of correspondence:the activity of Ecclesiastical academies in Russia till 1917, the clarification of Russian theologians’destinies and thespecial features of an orthodox Liturgy. Published letters were found in the Fund of Archimandrite Cyprian (Kern) at St. Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute in Paris.
