The “notes” of F. C. La Harpe as a source on history of Russia at the end of 18th — beginning of the 19th centuries

Andreev Andrei (2013) "The “notes” of F. C. La Harpe as a source on history of Russia at the end of 18th — beginning of the 19th centuries ", Vestnik Pravoslavnogo Sviato-Tikhonovskogo gumanitarnogo universiteta. Seriia II : Istoriia. Istoriia Russkoy Pravoslavnoy Tserkvi, 2013, vol. 53, pp. 7-22 (in Russian).

The article is intended to bring into scientific consideration a new historical source — the “Notes” of the Swiss teacher of the Emperor Alexander I F.-C. La Harpe. This source appeared as a result of a thorough work of La Harpe by commenting his correspondence with Alexander and contains many unique details and judgements about Russian court at the end of 18th — beginning of the 19th c. as well as a start of “alexandrine” liberal reforms.
