In May 2012 the Corpus of the Church Slavonic Language became available online within the framework of the Russian National Corpus. The paper describes the process of compiling the Corpus as well as methods of resolving various problems, such as orthographic representation, grammatical tagging and metatext markup.

The article deals with the conceptualization of category cura sui in contemporary studies of Italian scientists, who, in general, continue to develop the traditions of interpretation of the concept put forward by M. Heidegger and M. Foucault. According to the author, the interpretation cura sui, presents F. Cambi, F. Caputo, M. Gennari and other researchers, gives reason to see it close historical-genetic and ontological relations with the Greek category παιδεĩα, Roman humanitas and the German and the European concept of Bildung, which we perceive as education and self-education. At the same time, Bildung — category, which carries the mystico-religious roots, it is tangible in the German-speaking and Russian-speaking traditions, referring to the reconstruction in man the divine image as the main goal and the method of teaching. Such interpreters Bildung as F. Kambi and M. Borelli, note emerging in modern interpretations of the concept of reduction and simplification, which, from their point of view, unacceptable.

The article deals with the origin and history of writing a Small catechism by the founder of the reformation, Martin Luther. At fi rst, the author analyzes the catechism as a genre of religious and educational literature and identifies key periods in a special type of didactic manual, and describes its characteristic features. Further, we consider the basic stages of folding of the catechism of Martin Luther. The author notes a number of significant events that influenced the course of the reformation, the religious and educational views of Luther. In their series, such as the invention of printing and its role in the events of the reformation, the reformer interaction with representatives of other religious teachings (community «Czech brothers»), low education of the population in matters of faith (revealed by the Visitation of 1527). Also, mention of some separate editions of the catechisms of Luther and works close them by genre, stand out their features. The Small catechism is characterized not only from the standpoint of «the Bible for the laity» (Luther’s phrase), but is treated as a special didactic manual of the Christian faith. The author comes to the conclusion that the small catechism contains the essential features of the textbook and in combination with the Large catechism (written for teachers and pastors), illustrative tables and list of basic prayers represents educational-methodical complex, aimed not only at mastering the basics of the faith, but also a communion of believers to life in Christian community that is fully consistent with the objectives and program of the reformation.

This article analyses the history of the terms deist and deism in the European philosophical thought of the 16th — 18th centuries. It studies the meanings of the terms deist and deism which were given in foreign and Russian encyclopaediae, dictionaries and treatises of the period in question. It also demonstrates dynamics in the development of these terms as they were understood by preceding scholars. The article cites the terminology used by English, French, and German thinkers, among whom were both philosophers and theologians. Theologians’ interest in the deist thought is explained by the fact that in the above-mentioned period there was no clear understanding which domain the phenomenon of deism should be attributed to. The article also gives a detailed list of defi nitions of the terms deist and deism as well as their chronology, which makes up a signifi cant contribution to the study of the topic. The author of the article argues that despite the lack of a uniform understanding of the religious philosophy of deism, various authors outlined several general concepts, due to which the universally accepted defi nitions appeared. Besides, during these centuries clear views started to develop as to the multifaceted character of the deist thought, which resulted in the necessity to establish boundaries between various types of both deism itself and adjacent types of religious philosophy. The latter include atheist and theist philosophies, which, depending on specific authors, became close to or remote from one another. The conclusion of the paper summarises the main perspectives in viewing deism in the 16th — 18th centuries.
